Greg Zerwas

Greg lived and volunteered in La Venta, Honduras for a year in 1998. He founded Lazos Education Fund in 2005 to help further the strong relationships he formed. Greg works as a carpenter remodeling historic homes.


Ben Cornish

Ben agreed to shoot and edit hours of video during the 2015 trip to Honduras. His 20 years experience producing and directing is invaluable to Lazos as it documents its mission and works to tell the stories. In the world of television, Ben has worked on non-fiction series for The Discovery Channel, The Food Network,  and The Travel Channel, to name a few.


Hilary Horan

Hilary has been energizing and organizing any and all Lazos efforts for years. She joined the Board in 2014 and made her first visit to ANA in March 2015. She is an avid photographer and took hundred of photos while in Honduras. Hilary has owned and operated a retail baby boutique since 2003.


Bart Crawford

Bart serves on several international and domestic education nonprofit Boards and offers Lazos experience and perspective. He visited ANA with the team in 2015 and is working to establish connections with similar schools in Guatemala.  Recently, Bart founded a technology company to help nonprofits measure their ‘impact’.


Laura Buhs

Laura brings years of international education and intercultural exchange program experience to the Lazos Board. Fluent in Spanish, she helped Greg facilitate the 2015 trip to visit ANA. Laura is the Interim Director and International Scholar Advisor of International Student and Scholar Services at the University of Denver.


Erik Cederlund

Erik began helping Greg orchestrate Lazos fundraisers in 2005. His passion for the cause grew during a visit to Honduras and subsequently joined the Board in 2011. Erik is retired after an 18 year performing arts career.
